Established in 1981, the Silver Spring Trophy is presented annually to a volunteer firefighter who has demonstrated outstanding individual achievement in fire prevention efforts within their community. The award recognizes those who go above and beyond to educate the public, promote fire safety, and help prevent emergencies before they occur.
As a Fireline Officer and Lieutenant with SVFC, Will has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to fire prevention, public education, and community outreach. His efforts to promote fire safety and protect the citizens we serve embody the highest traditions of the volunteer fire service.
