New Lifesaving Equipment Now In Service at SVFC

May 06, 2026

Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce that we have placed 10 brand‑new Zoll AED 3 units into service. These devices replace our previous AEDs, which served us well for more than 15 years but were overdue for an upgrade to meet today’s emergency response standards. This project began in September 2025, when one of our members dedicated their time to applying for the MIEMSS Cardiac Devices Grant. In December 2025, we were notified that Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company had been awarded $10,000 to support this critical equipment replacement. Upgrading to the Zoll AED 3 was clearly in the best interest of our company and the community we serve. The AED 3 offers enhanced features, integrated pediatric capability, and aligns with the equipment already used by our County’s DES staff, ensuring familiarity, consistency, and improved patient care when seconds matter. Committed to progress. Prepared to respond. Ready when our community needs us most.
