On Friday November 20th 2020 around 10:15 am the Sudlersville volunteers were alerted for a dwelling fire at 110 N church St in the 6-1 Box.
Paramedic 600 arrived on location first with fire showing on side delta with fire extending into the second floor officer 505 arrived on scene at the same time confirming the report and establishing the command. Engine 64 and Quint 6 arrived shortly after 64 laid out from the hydrant at Miller St and began stretching lines to the residence with help from The crew from Quint 6. Rescue 6 arrived soon after the initial attack and took the role of the of the special service by laddering the building.
The fire was extinguished quickly, with help from the Church hill vfd, Community fire company of Millington (Kent MD) and the crumpton vfd. Special thanks to the crew of Kent Delaware squad 45 (Clayton) for covering our area and the Maryland state highway administration(MDOT) for traffic control while we operated on the the box.
