Winter Weather Preparedness Reminder

With winter weather in the forecast,
now is the time to prepare and stay safe. Our Volunteer Fire Company encourages everyone to take a few simple steps to protect your family and your home:
- Check your heating systems and make sure space heaters are used safely and away from flammable items.
- Stock up on essentials like food, water, medications, and batteries in case of power outages.
- Keep flashlights, blankets, and a charged phone or battery pack ready.
- If traveling, keep an emergency kit in your vehicle and allow extra time on icy roads.
- Make sure smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.
Please use caution, limit unnecessary travel, and look out for neighbors who may need extra help. Your safety is our top priority.
Stay warm, stay prepared, and stay safe!
