2nd Truck Pull on September 16th

September 9: Truck Pull to be held at the Queen Anne's County Fair Grounds. Registration 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM. First Pull at 1:00 PM. To pull $20.00, Admission: $4.00 per person kids under 12 free. Free Moon Bounce, Cash Prizes, Gas and Diesel classes. Fro more information please call 410-438-3155

New EMS Skid Unit

Sept 18: Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company is please to announce the purchase and installation of a Medlite Transport EMS skid unit. The skid unit is constructed out of aluminum, And has a retractable IV pole, 9 Cubic feet of enclosed storage space, Guidelock 3 position rolling seat, and Velcro straps for securing a backboard. The first assignment for this unit will be this weekend at Dover Downes  International Speedway. For more information on this skid unit please visit KIMTEC Corporation.


Rescue Box 6-12

Sept 19: 15:07 Hrs Station 6 and Kent Co. Maryland Sta. 2 Millington were alerted for a MVC in the area of 2608 Millington Rd. Rescue 2 arrived on location with 1 truck of the road and into a ditch with 1 unconscious PT . FF R. McIntyre assumed CMD until the arrival of Rescue 6 and CMD was passed to officer 606 (I. Russell). The PT was transported in trauma arrest to Chester River Hospital. Sta 6 units operated for approximately 1 hour with a total staffing of 12 Personnel. Units on the box R-6, E-64, PM 60, PM 600, PM 800, Kent Co. Rescue 2 and Amb-2

Dwelling Fire Box 6-1

Sept 21: 15:48 Hrs Sta 6, Sta 5, Kent Co. MD. Sta 2, and Sta 6 were alerted for a Dwelling fire at 107 West Main St. PM 600 Arrived On Location with nothing evident investigating passing CMD. Chief 6 arrived and was informed by PM 600 he had a room and contents to the rear of the building with heavy fire conditions. 601 assumed CMD (F. Kinnamon) and assigned E-64 as attack crew and Q-6 crew to ventilation. Command placed the box under control at 16:42 Hrs. The home owner informed CMD that the fire started in a dust collection unit she was using while making crafts for a upcoming craft show. Sta 6 units operated for approximately 1 hour and 30 min with a total staffing of 23 Personnel. Units on the box C-6, R-6, E-64, T6, Q6, PM 60, PM 600, T-7, E- 52 Kent Co. E-2, Tanker 2, Amb-2, ,Truck 6, QA Sherriff office, and Kent Co Fire Police.

2nd Truck Pull a Success

Sept 16: Sudlersville Held it's 2nd truck pull of the year at the Queen Anne's County 4H Park. The truck pull lasted 3 1/2 hours with approximately 50 trucks, and 3 tractors participated in the event. A Moon bounce was added to the event that was loaned to us from the from the Queen Anne's County Fire Chiefs association.

MVC with Entrapment 7-1 Box

Sept 30: At 00:33 Hrs Station 6 was alerted to assist Station 7 (Crumpton) with a MVC with entrapment on Route 544 in the area of 4th Street. Station 7 arrived on location with 1 car off the road with the driver side into a pole with wires down. Command advised he had 2 Pt. self extricated and 1 Pt heavily trapped. Station 6 personnel assisted with removal of the roof, Passenger door, Passenger seat, and Center consol. Extrication of the Pt. took approximately 1 hour. 2 Pt. were transported by aviation and one by AMB 60. Engine 64 handled the L/Z. Sta 6 units operated for approximately 1 hour and 30 min with a total staffing of 13 Personnel. Units on the box C-6, R-6, E-64, AMB 60, AMB 6 PM 600, PM 800, R-7 , A-7, Kent Co. MD. R-6, Trooper 6, and DE. Trooper 4 .
