MVC in the 6-3 Box

Aug 16: 17:04 Station 6 was alerted for a MVC with rollover on Ingleside Road in the area of Howard Wilson Road. Chief 6 arrived (F. Kinnamon) assumed CMD and reported 1 SUV off the road in a field with both occupants out of the vehicle. PM 600 evaluated both pt. One male Pt. refusing treatment and 1 female Pt with traumatic injuries. CMD R/Q Aviation and Eng 52 handle L/Z. Sta 6 units operated for approximately 1 hours with a total staffing of 12 Personnel. Units on the box C-6, R-6, PM 600, A-60, A-5, E-52, Caroline County PM 791.


Dozer fire in the 6-11 Box

Aug 15: 16:15 Hrs station 6 was alerted for a equipment fire next to a structure in the area of 3316 Peters Corner Road. Officer 609 (K. Wise) arrived POV established Command and reported a small fire in the area of the seat on a John Deere dozer. Command requested the Fire Marshall to respond and Held the box to station 6 units. Sta 6 units operated for approximately 1 hours and 30 mins with a total staffing of 16 Personnel. Units on scene from Station 6 T-6, E-64, and Q-6, PM 600. Other units on the box Kent Co DE Sta. 44, 51, and 56, The incident is still under investigation by FM Vansant.
Aug 6: Members of the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company provided tractor shuttle drivers for opening day of the Queen Anne's County Fair.

Working Junk Yard Fire

Aug 13: 16:10 Hrs. Station 6 was alerted for a tanker  6 to assist Kent County DE. Sta. 45 (Clayton) on a working Junk yard fire on Downs Chapel Road. Soon after dispatch Sta 45 Command also requested a engine response for additional man power. Engine 64 arrived on location and laid a  600' of 4"  for a second supply line. Engine 64 hooked up to the 600" of 4" already laid by other units. Engine 64 was then used as the relay Pumper for the entire operation. Approximately 100 tires ,and 40 to 50 cars stacked 30 to 40 feet high were involved in the fire. Sta 6 units operated for approximately 3 hours and 15 mins with a total staffing of 16 Personnel. Units on scene from Station 6 T-6, E-64, and U-6. Other units from QA Eng 52, Kent County MD. Tanker 2, from DE. Clayton, Smyrna, Hartly, and Townsend.
